Who knows that trans women can have sex with other women, who thinks that the penis belongs in the vagina. As a trans woman who knows many trans women, I know that this often has little to do with reality. But what are they doing in bed? In general, no*r can say that. Thats why its not very interesting when I talk about how I have sex personally. Sex is different for everyone*. Forget what you learned in school.

A female penis works differently than a male penis

We women use our penises differently. When women undergo hormone replacement therapy - for example with estrogens and androgen blockers - the penis and scrotum often become smaller and more flexible. Some trans women and their partners* find that the genitals smell and taste different. The ejaculate becomes less or they even have dry orgasms. And in some trans women, the penis doesnt get stiff. Some have also told me that they enjoy sex without even using their genitals. Others get erections and she doesnt mind using her penis for vaginal or anal sex. Many dont understand their body part as a penis, but as a clitoris. Actually, it is wrong to speak of penises in all trans women who have not (yet) undergone genital surgery. For the sake of simplicity, I still speak of female penises - because many people call their genitals that. Just like me.

Trans women in virtual reality

Trans women and their partners* need to explore for themselves what they like and what works for them. This is no different with cis women. However, trans women are much less likely to have instructions that show them what they can do with their bodies, except maybe the aforementioned Fucking Trans Women. Pornography is almost exclusively made for cis men and does not reflect the sex lives of trans women. All too often, trans women encounter reservations and helplessness from partners who try things they dont like or dont like. Many trans women have complicated feelings about their bodies. Most of the time, those who are planning a genital surgery nevertheless have sex beforehand. Sometimes touching is possible and other times it doesnt work because the body feels wrong. Who is trans woman or has sex with trans woman has to be open and inventive. However, some trans women find it easier for other trans people to get involved. Cis people are not excluded if they are willing to throw their expectations out of the window and listen carefully to what their partner says.
